I have read in some other forums that it might be bad to Powdercoat Rock Warrior wheels because they are forged. Is this true?

That's interesting, I've seen a few forged wheels that have been through this process and they turn out real well..

    what would the issue be?
I had a set of rock warrior wheels powder coated last year. Guy that did the job had no issues working with them.
Haven't gotten around to putting them on the truck though.

I don't think its an issue of appearance but more so about weakening the integrity of the wheels. I haven't seen any strength tests to quantify the damage of reheating the wheels.
