Brother I've been going to Chili's since the late 70s in my late teen formative years..

Now it is a 7/11...

The burgers and margaritas (drinking age was 18 then) were SO good back then.
They taste NOTHING like that now..

A Terlingua Pride, fries, and a few Chambord swirl margaritas...

but yea, ive got a cousin who is a shoe version of a foody, high dollar shoes he only wears a few months, and wont walk in puddles. I inherit his shoes, and they become my nice shoes. Cause i wont spend more than $30 and forget about them being new on the trip home until im halfway done mowing. Ive had 2 pair of motorcycle boots since ‘06. And its several months between insoles.

 

I see people all the time with $300+ Jordan's on. If it's raining they bust out the Wallace wurl bags from a pocket. Bag their shoes, and keep on strolling. If they get a single scuff on them they'll bend over, and spend 20 minutes wiping the scuff off. Whining the whole time.

I personally know people who have "the limited editions" in every color, and size even if it's not their size. They have at least $5k tied up in shoes they don't/can't wear. I will never understand the "flex."

I know people who buy $200 shoes for their toddlers. Like my man, they're gonna outgrow them shits in like three months. It's always the same response. "Oh I know, but that lil mf be stylin. FR FR."

I will never understand.

the insoles lasted almost a week, and i got hydraulic oil on em, but they’re still pretty comfy, and i dont have to tie em twice...insoles might have lasted longer if i didnt use em like slippers.

Indeed. A seperate subcommittee will need to be formed, chaired, and co-counceled, along with the requisite snack and refreshment budget appropriated. Then, a poll will be formed and voted upon whether the vote can be changed. After a 30 day waiting period for appeals, the vote can then be changed.
