Can I direct swap my TPMS sensors from my stock aluminum 2016 Sequoia 18” rims to a set of 2019 Tundra TRD pro rims?

neither the parts or service departments of my local dealer could give me a good answer.

    thanks!

    Alot of them
That's because they usually want you to bring it in so that they can make money. If you are taking your sensors and putting them in different wheels and then putting those wheels on your truck, then they should not have any issues....the end result is you are putting your sensors back on.

So is it really just model dependent and not rim dependent? As long as the TRD pros fit up to a tundra and sequoia then I should be able to interchange in my existing sequoia TPMS assembly?

Not sure but on this topic, I have my local tire shop re-program my Sienna whenever I swap wheels between winter and summer. I am too cheap to buy the re-programming tool ($200 or so) however the tire shop does it free, which takes about 5 mins.

Can't say for certain, as I know the steel and alloy wheels have different sensors because of the angles on the wheels. I am not sure about the Aluminum ones. Normally I would tag @Roman for this, but he's been AWOL for a while now.
