For those with RTT and racks noticed the heights all over the place but do not recall seeing much discussion on wind noise.

Looking at 14, 18 and 22" rack heights with Smittybilt (possibly XL) on 2021 DC. Have not owned a RTT tent before hoping those with experience can give some input about how different height racks perform in relation wind noise and driving behavior. I'm leaning towards this 22" with the brackets for tonneau cover which would put me at a ~24+" total height. No lift on truck and none planned (famous last words from reading here).

Thought a custom wind deflector on the front of the rack would help with bug collection and reducing wind noise but have not seen one done before.

    Appreciate your time
