I just installed a Bodyguard Traditional Extreme front bumper on my 2010 Tundra...looks great. I want to mount 2 6" KCs on her but not sure if I should connect to fog lamp relay or run a separate line/separate switch. If I go with separate switch I can upgrade to KC amber LED fog lights or if I use same relay just plain white LEDs What do most Tundra owners go for as far as how they would wire off-road LED's in this case? Should I be concerned with power draw? Thanks.

I assume the lights are not street legal. If they are do you really want them on when running the fogs? I assume you are just using the fog relay to trigger a separate relay to to the KCs. I would put in a separate switch. I have used the bright light circuit to trigger a relay to street legal driving lights.

Fogs turn on with lows... So that's not ideal. I like to hook up my off-road lights to come on with the high beam. Aka, high beams on, push aftermarket button and LEDs turn on. Then to turn LEDs off, you can either hit aftermarket switch or just flip to low beam. I rarely run my LEDs on road, but when I'm on back woods gravel roads I occasionally do, and I prefer to have an instant, easy muscle memory way to turn them off along with the high beams.

I agree.......The aux lights on my Tundra are triggered by the high beams. I used a fuse tap in the #24 fuse location (under hood fuse box) to trigger the relay. To have switched power, run the trigger wire to a switch in the cab.
