Switches for the heated seats are installed, I think I need to just start a build thread so I’m not posting in this thread every 12 minutes

I put the mount in this morning...bounces quite a bit. It drove me nuts on the way home from work so I took it off.

New sliders...solo install totally doable with lots of cursing..and with a 38 gallon tank, missing a bolt due to impossibility.2079DE3D-B170-4D72-BB26-AD9A7A17A3C1.jpg

What brand did you get? WKOR had backing plates with the nut and a wire welded to it so you could shimmy those back there without doing anything to the gas tank. Was still a huge pain in the ass, but doable.

Have you looked at the ProClip? I just got one of those and so far it works well with no bounce.

Please report back how it is, I’m also looking at this one myself and curious how it holds up. I went aftermarket with my Tacoma because it’s not worth what Toyota wants IMO.

Only time mine noticeably bounced was when I got new tires and they were out of balance. Had the wheels balanced by someone who knew what they were doing, and the bouncing quit.

Boost Auto Tow Mirrors w/motorized fold upgrade
The only ground I touched was the one on the driver's side strut near the fuse box, since that's the one Boost Auto recommended for grounding the mirrors. I tightened it back down really well, and the mirror folding is working gangbusters. It's tying those rear-facing spots into the cargo lights where I think I may have blown a fuse or a relay (though I didn't hear anything snap, crackle, or pop).

I also checked out the diagrams you posted for tapping into the cargo lights, and it's very different from what I have on my 2021. The white connector that I think is the 3K connector has only two rows of pins, not the two-row/three-row combination in your diagram. There's a virtually identical white connector that goes up into the dashboard, instead of down the door jam conduit. I unplugged each connector in turn to test whether that would power off the cargo lights and/or the interior lights, and they stayed lit even with every white and blue connector disconnected. Then I looked for the pink wire you mentioned in the door jam conduit, and my truck has three pink wires running toward the back; one that's a larger gauge, and two that are smaller gauge.

I forgot how much fun it is buying a new auto when there aren't yet any official mfr docs released. ;) Guess I'm going to have to squirm under the dash and check every fuse.

I was in the same situation, 38 gal tank and no one to help. One of those bendy magnetic tools and some tape let me get it in there.

That connector isn’t 3K. 3K is plugged directly into the fuse panel on the front of it, and has a massive latching thing holding it into place.

Here’s a screenshot from the bed light instructions that shows where the 3K connector is located (the instructions point out 3H, but 3K is just above it).

As for the three pink wires - it will be one of the smaller ones. :p Pin 28 in the 3K connector is going be a 22 or 20 AWG wire, not the larger 18AWG that you also found.

We got a torrential downpour today and lots of streets flooded. Took me about 2-3 hours to get home from trying to pick up my other 2 daughters. My brother in law and his dad were on the way to pick up his son and got my 2 daughters while there....in a canoe! He said I would have made it with my lift. But him and his dad didn't have a high enough truck. I drove through 3 spots that had water a lil below my doors, with me having a 6" lift and 35s. Glad I had done the rear diff breather mod a while back. I'll check it later on to make sure its OK. This spot isn't that bad as it was only about a foot deep. It was when I got south of town that it was pretty bad. There was one spot i saw a car drove through that the water was sitting half way up their windows, everyone turned around when they saw that.
    20210517_152544.jpg
Everyone pokes fun at the lifted truck until they need to cross through water thats too deep. :notsure::rofl:
