Added the RTT, +3 coachbuilder shackles, 2 driver 1 passenger CB shims, front and rear Durobumps and Built rite welded in Sliders.

Prior upgrades 6112s at 2.5, 5160s in the rear, RCI Skids inc transmission and LCA skids, Built Rite UCAs, bakflip MX4, voodoo max moduler 10" Rack, Waterport 3.8 gal tank

still need to get shoes and socks...next month

Hoping to finish the bulk of my maintenance and packing shtuff today. I'm thinking about taking off Sunday from AB on a longer trip. Took out the rest of my backseat yesterday.

 

We’d love to have you join us in an LT Taco! This will be a pretty tame trip— an invitation for newcomers to come out without scratching their pretty new trucks , but if you come it’ll give Hulk a Buddy to play with and add to the good time! Also a few local Taco guys from TW coming out. I’m guessing you’ll know at least one, and it’s cool getting to meet each other.

Nope. But we’ll meet at 10am on Saturday 5/22 at one of the big sculptures just north of Anza Borrego... north out of the traffic circle. I’ll select one and edit this reply, to say which.

You’re right to wonder though, it’s comin’ up next weekend!!

I’ll do a “trip post” soon. On this thread. And will make sure that everyone who said they’re comin’ gets tagged or named for others to tag. It’s a little weird, but we’ve got close to 20 trucks without a dedicated trip thread; I’m afraid of an actual $4!t show, coming out of the pandemic boredom, if we post a dedicated thread. Everyone that reads this thread is welcome; I can’t wait to see you, Shenanigan Buddies!

Basically, from about here, you can see sculptures in all directions. If the dragon is available, that’s an awesome backdrop... but if it’s got a bunch of non-Tundras around it we can pick another. Or start lining up Tundras ‘til the place clears out.

SoCal Shenanigans Trail Run!!





What: a follow-the-leader conga line of Tundras through the desert before it gets too hot. Many stops along the way for posed truck photos, beer, and b.s., especially about trucks and gear and beer.

Friendly dogs and kids welcome; no biters please.

When: Saturday 5/22/21 at 10am

BRING A LOT OF WATER to drink,
2 gallons per person per day!
No joke; you can take it home if you don’t drink it. No, you can’t have anyone else’s if you screw this up.

Also bring just in case: hat; long sleeves; sun screen: toilet paper; a shovel or trowel; blankets; anything you’d need to stay alive if you left the group to head home and got stuck, + packed lunch, snacks, fun beverages for everyone in your truck.

** If you want to stay and camp with us, it will be Great Fun! For this, be prepared for dispersed camping... food and whatever you’ll need to cook it and clean up after. Also bring trash containers; portable toilet supplies for everyone in your vehicle to use (that you’ll pack out).

If you plan to camp, please bring a bundle of wood for a shared campfire and chairs for everyone in your truck. Edit: DON’T bring pallets to burn. Bringing nails to the desert is a big Never Do.

That’s most of the “rules”. This will be an easy run— your new truck and paint won’t get damaged (unless you want to develop pinstripe cred like @eccracer104 ). If you’re new to off-roading, you’ll learn trail etiquette, plus hear licensed ham operators using comms.
