Just got a 2021 1794 with the TRD off road package. Comes with 18” wheels. Going to keep them for now but before winter rolls around I’ll need to upgrade my tires.

for the record, I strictly drive on pavement (and we get snow where we live, maybe 5 pretty good snow days a year, but nothing that sticks for more than a few days after). I also tow a camper monthly during our camp trips.

While Looking for wheels, idk whether to go with 18 or 20 inch wheels. I really like how the ride is now of the truck. Now sure how the 18” stock wheels effect this. But would going to 20” wheels be better or worse? What other pros vs cons are there?

Again I do not off road. I understand 18” would be better for off road. But that’s not a concern of mine.
    Thanks all 025029A2-CDC8-4F4D-B9E5-56250E685E31.jpg

    Nice looking truck

You'll feel the road a lot more in 20" rims. Shorter sidewall creates less cushion. If you like the ride now, stick with 18" size. If you're willing to sacrifice a little bit of ride quality (A little bit) then go with 20's.

You could always go back to the dealer and see if they have a tundra with 20's and take it for a spin just to get a real world comparison.

As far as I know, there's no change in how the truck will tow with the different size rims.

Less sidewall, and you’ll need new wheels and tires if you go to 20”.

I’m in the opposite boat. Have 20’s and wanting to make the jump to 18. Everything is less expensive and less weight on the 18’s
