I was one of the reluctant folks on not switching out my HU ....I have a 19 tundra...I contacted James at tech12volt and he hooked me up with a great set up.....including dsr1...two 10 in jl subs in his box the jl 900 amp c2 speakers in the doors and c1 across the dash. I went one step further and added sound deadening in the doors and floors while I was at it.. It was such a great improvement over the terrible JBL set-up I didn't really question it for the better part of two years. I was upset that sirius xm channel didn't have the complete line up and carplay was not compatible....I knew I could address these and I could probably upgrade the sound considerably while I was at it. I looked at Alpine HU's and was encouraged to look at the new Kenwood series...finally went with the new 1007 model and removed the DSR1. The guy that installed it spent all of 5 minutes playing with the tuning functions in the parking lot and the sound in my truck is on completely different level with what seemed like little to no effort. Granted with this HU I doubled my investment...wouldn't have been so bad with 1037 Model but at the end of the day I wish I would have pulled the trigger on the HU long before I did....just thought I would pass this along.

Do you still have your DSR1? Would you be willing to sell it?
