Bed Slide

Hello, I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra ext cab and was wondering if anyone knows if they have installed a bed slide and if there is anything I should look out for when drilling a 1/2” hole in 4 locations for the bolts in the bed the bolts are short, what should I look out for when drilling in the bed, gas tank, wires, etc.

 

You could try doing a little groundwork and research yourself first.

 

Look under the bed before drilling!

Maybe you can suggest any single thing under there that you think would be OK to drill through?

 

I used a center punch in the bed, then would climb under the truck to look for the dimple and make sure it’s clear.

 

I also made flat straps under the bed, and painted the holes. for overkill sake.
