    Hey guys,

So I installed the OEM LED fog lights this morning and now my brake controller sensor error light is on and the truck won't start. It started after installing one fog light since I started it to move the wheel the other way, but after I installed the 2nd is when the issue arose. I have no clue why installing these would cause this issue. I disconnected, cleaned terminals, and reconnected the battery which did not work.

Honestly when I'm trying to turn it over it just sounds like the battery is dead. However, I don't know why that'd be the case seeing as the battery is pretty new and I only had the truck on (not running) for maybe 10 minutes while I was adjusting the fog light beam height.

Any insights? I searched around but honestly can't seem to find a sure fire way to fix this... Thanks

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
Are you the original owner? Is it the original battery?

It is possible the battery is on its last legs.

If possible try to charge the battery and try to see if will start, and maybe get it tested. I replaced my fog light with the LED and they should be plug an play.

Yeah I'm starting to think it's just a dead battery. No one around me so I'm gonna charge my jump starter and give er a shot. I'll report back.

Yup dead battery. Jumped it and all the error messages went away once it was running. Just so weird that I got those error messages in the first place.

Brake controller error is common with low battery voltage. Not sure why, it has happened on other vehicle brands I’ve owned as well.
