2021 TRD Pro - Double Cab (Lunar Rock) $53K - Should I?

Need help fellas. Just hopped out of a '18 4R and looking to get into a Tundra. Only want a double cab and only want it in Lunar Rock. Finally found one, 2,000 miles away from me...

The dealers website advertised it at $52,XXX but now, over the phone, they want $53,XXX. As bad as I want this truck, I am hesitant because I have never paid above MSRP before. I always haggle my way to about $1K under MSRP. Obviously the markets are completely different now.

I guess I am just looking for that "little push" or even a "F#!K NO" from the community, as to whether if this is a deal or not.

 

DO IT....$1K over is not bad at all.
Plus, it will hold its value.

It's alot of $$$ but that color is hard to find.If you love it pull the trigger.

Unless you have a real good relationship with a dealer you will not get a pro under msrp. Paying msrp is actually a deal for the pro trucks. 1k shouldn’t hold you back to much on the decision but tell them to stick all the dealer add ons up their pie hole.

 

I have a coworker that traded his 18 Crew Cab SR5 in on a new vehicle for his wife... it’s listed on the dealers website for 49k.... prices now are crazy. If you really want that color go buy it.... before someone else does.

 

Just bought my wife a new Mazda CX30 yesterday and they had a 2019 CM Trd Offroad listed for $55k with 26k miles. I purchased my LR for MSRP back in October and I'd sure as hell do it all over again!!

Finding a DC LR Pro is a needle in the haystack scenario. I would not be surprised if it's already sold since you posted this thread. If you want it, get a deposit in their hands and a Buyer's agreement signed ASAP.

The rarest tundra color in the rarest configuration for that color in the last year of the 5.7 V8.

I think Toyota just made a batch of these, since a few have popped up in inventory lately. Of course every single one I’ve called on was already sold.

 

Mine hasnt been delivered yet, but you should jump on that. This price insanity isnt going away soon, in fact, i think its going to get a bit worse before it starts getting better. Go get it or post it up!!

You better jump on that. I can tell you the price will only go up throughout the year. Look on the lots very few new cars or trucks.

True. I bought my second Tundra back in September October range. Took me 6 weeks to find the color i wanted.

 

Jump on it. You will regret it if you don’t if it’s exactly what you want. It will hold value as well. I just purchased one in Lunar Rock last month and sold a 4 month old 2021 Tundra for more than I paid for it last November. Crazy times.

 

I'm guessing it sold in the time it took you to post that. But I hope you jumped on it!
