I installed the Start X remote starter on my 2014 Tundra and I have noticed that my interior/dome lights don’t work now. I have went back and check all of the plugs and the fuse inside the truck and the engine bay. Does anyone else have any ideas I can try to resolve this issue.

Not being a smart ass, did the bulbs burn out?

I would contact the manufacturer of the device, it may be a common issue.

I just installed an LED kit the weekend before and I did contact the manufacturer and they just asked that I check all the connections which I did. Thanks for the reply.

No worries, searching through the forums it seems like fuses and plugs are the most common issues related to this device. One of the posts had an issue with a plug that was undone but it wouldn't reset until he unplugged the battery.

    Best of luck

I’ll unplug the battery tomorrow and see it works, thank you.

I removed the kit and sent it back, now my slippery light and airbag lights are on, this sucks.

Maybe you pinched a wire somewhere. I’ve had a start x installed for two years now with no issues.

Did you check the switch to the lower left of the steering wheel? Just to get the obvious possibilities out of the way...

Yes they will turn on when you push on or for seconds when turn the vehicle off and remove the key. But if you only open the door it doesn’t work like its supposed to.
