Short clip of a 5th gen 4Runner. My SR5 used to crawl through anything just like this. I never felt the need to get a locker. The ATRAC was activated at the push of a button in 4Lo.

From what I understand, on our trucks, it’s automatically active in 4Hi and 4Lo when all the nannies are on, and it engages when it detects wheel spin.

I haven’t been in any off-road situations that required ATRAC in my truck yet, but I hope it works just as well and doesn’t require a ton of wheel spin!
