    Whatsup guys!!!

So I bought this pretty snazzy pioneer touchscreen radio with all the fancy Bluetooth and apple car play stuff, but I encountered an issue with the stereo connector I bought. It says on the box that it works for pretty much everything Toyota 1980+, including my specific model. Apparently I have a different headset connection than some of the other tundras.

Down below is the stereo connection that DIDNT work.

Basically I’m looking for a 20 pin adapter and I’m wondering if any of you guys out there know where to buy one. I already tried rummaging through the internet to find one, but it seems I’m out of luck.

    Edit:
I should of snapped a picture of the actual 20 pin connection from my truck, but I had to rap things up pretty quick. I’m assuming you guys know what I’m talking about anyway.

    Close, but no dice.

Here’s the plug that I need the adapter for.

70-8113 is definitely the right connection, but I think I need to go back a step. Here’s what I’m trying to connect. Seems like the first connector I got had the right wiring at the end of it, but just the wrong adapter.

By the way, idk if I’m even going about this right. First radio install

Many of our trucks came with a separate amp that uses the old style connectors.

Below your radio and hvac controls, is there an amp mounted under the dash? If yes, remove it and use your current adapter.

    See here:

This is the case for earlier models. Later years they moved the amp to behind the rear seat and used a different connector.

I’ll follow up with you on it tomorrow since it’s about time to sleep. first thing tomorrow after work.
But from what you showed me on that link..
Just remove the amp and use the plug-in from the amp onto the adapter I currently have? I can do that. If it fits :fingerscrossed:
