Hoping someone knows whats going on.

I recently bought a 2021 SR5 Crewmax. Nothing has been wrong with the truck aside from the occasional "Clunk" noise when starting the A/C on a cold start and more recently the "Malfunction in the tire pressure warning system has been detected" message. Tire pressures vary from around 35 PSI on a cold morning to about 38 PSI once I've driven around a couples miles.

Took it to the dealer today (04-19-2021) and they said they can't duplicate and want to keep it over night to see if they can see something in the morning.

If anyone has experienced this, were you able to resolve the issue?

There should be a button under the dash near your right knee. I’m thinking since your truck is so new the sensors shouldn’t be malfunctioning yet. The sensors are made to go off if they go below a certain psi from where they have been set to. My suggestion, air your tires cold to where you like them and reset the TPMS button. Without looking in my manual, I think you turn ignition on and then hold that button down until you see the TPMS light flash slowly three times.

When the PDI is done at the dealership the tires can be inflated up to 50psi for shipping purposes. If the tire pressure reset button is pushed, it sets the warning psi higher. So if the warning would normally be trigger at 25psi it is now triggered at 35psi. So first thing in the morning you get the warning then after you drive and the tires warm up the pressure goes up and the warning goes away.

Do as suggested, set the tire pressure to 35psi cold then press and hold the reset button until it flashes. Problem should go away. No need to go back to the dealer.
