I have 2013 Tundra. When new a full tank of gas gave report of appox 420 Miles till empty.
Last year that report jumped to 520 miles! But rapidly descended towards zero after trip odometer read about 400. So, what's wrong with system. Is it a sensor ?

    Thanks,
    Ed

It goes off of averages, what your average mile per gallon is dictates your miles to empty. If you reset your average MPG, your miles to empty will go up until you’ve got a longer average going on.
