Anyone have a console vault that will fit inside or replace the Gen 1 Tundra center console?

    Couldn’t bare the wait.

    Overwhelming anticipation.
    Something like this?

I say look into buying your own vault and modding it into the center console. Probably find one with similar dimensions to the inside and figure out a reasonable way to fasten it in.

I assume this is for a gun? I don't see one of those keeping a determined thief from breaking in.

I agree. I want to keep the opportunist meth head out. A skilled and determined thief targets any of us and good luck. But, we are not worth it to the pros. I keep a low profile and don’t attract the idiots. Maybe I’ll fab one.
A determined and skilled thief would get by this as well, but neither he or the junkie would likely open the first, unassuming door.

The number one thing one can do to protect a firearm in your vehicle is to NOT put a "Insert favorite firearm manufacturer sticker here" on one's window. Determined thieves pick their targets carefully. Lock boxes are to stifle lazy opportunistic thieves who aren't looking for anything in particular and give up easy to a little resistance.

Good point. If you are advertising your stuff with signs decals and shirts, assume everyone else thinks you have it as advertised.

I have a Wurrld Peas Sticker on my truck. We get passed over by everyone and sometimes they sprinkle Unicorn Dust around the truck as a Kind Gesture in a Random Act.
