I'll tinker with it tomorrow, and if that doesn't work I'll run a fused hot wire into a bussbar by the sunglasses holder.

I can tie into it from there and add switches. I'll add wires that come down out of the headliner that I can get to it without pulling the headliner and run where I want.

ones probably ground. ones positive... do you have the wiring schematic from whoever you bought it from?

Continuity test the location the two 'legs' connect to.

One will be power supply to the relays (large pin) and the other ground side of the relay coil (small pin) most likely.

You'll want 12v+ to the stud by the pink and ground to the one under the yellow.

Black truck problems

 

Gonna put some a knee on some cats necks. The titan is silver, and just gets hosed off every now and then. Im gonna have to keep this truck in one of those air up bubbles.

My waterhose doesnt run through the filter and is pretty hard, so i have a fancy nozzle i run with jet dry to help keep the spots off.

 

We got a cheapo $300 mig/ dc scratch tig welder on order for work. Just for doing random repair and stuff without lugging around a big boy welder. If that thing is half decent, I'm getting one for my house with my whole exhaust rebuild in mind. My welder at the shop is huge and the shop is always too full to fit my truck and with kids it's hard to get over there. I think with a tig setup at home I could actually get to work on stuff. It would be nice to have a tig handy for other things like maybe screwing with turbos too.

You should be getting commission from jba at this point. Now to get the wife her gx, figure out what I screwed up on my Jeep stroker build (slight knocking and oil looks bad), button up some stuff on my truck, and hopefully get headers later this year.

I've had a Hobart 140 MIG with gas for about a dozen years that works very well from sheet to about 1/8. It'll supposedly do 1/4 on multiple passes but I don't have the need at home for that.

 

I have the older 135 hobart at my house. It's alright, but it's a not really good for anything on my truck outside of exhaust patching. I have 220 so I might as well use it. I exceed the duty cycle on even my lincoln 180 at the shop. Pretty much anything I want to weld that's thicker than 3/16" gets the tig. Need mo powa! And I'm tired of stopping to let the machine cool when welding 1/8". I also need stainless tig ability at my house for fun little stuff. It would be nice to a/c tig at my house but that's asking a lot. A lot of money or a huge welder like my current tig. The miller diversion is probably as small as I could go and get ac tig. I don't feel like spending $2-3k on a hobby tig for the house.

 

Yeah I get that. The 140 at the time seemed like a decent compromise for me. I've only got one 220 outlet and I'm not proficient enough with a welder to do anything other than patch non structural stuff.

 

They are great for home fixes and stuff though. I built my gate and a bunch of other random stuff with mine. For the money and handiness, they are pretty awesome.

 

Both of these were great purchases. I use this Neiko socket set constantly. I will admit that I now want a small impact wrench too. I don't think DeWalt's small one is as impressive as Milwaukee.

 

I tried for a bit but gave up. We got pretty over run there for a short minute.
