Need holding Clamps

Hi All,

Any idea where I can purchase rail mounts to hold my shovels and weed trimmers like the following on my rail system in my 2010 CrewMax?

 

@Relentless sells some mounts you can use with quickfists. These look nice.

I just fabbed my own with unistrut rails.

 

Any idea how those relentless pieces mount to the factory rails?

 

You would just need to find the correct size T-slots. Not sure if the factory is the same size as unistrut.

 

Actually looks like it comes with it.

 

Where can these t-slots be purchased?

 

Any hardware store. I like these, you just insert and twist in place.

 

Thanks. I've been walking up and down the aisles at Lowe's and never seen these. Maybe I'll go to home Depot tomorrow, don't know if I have enough time..

 

They're in electrical section with the unistrut rails. Are you buying it for the factory rails? Not sure what size you need for them.

 

Use your chevy repair kit (duct tape and tie wire)

 

4x innovations sells a kit. They are a vendor on Tacoma World. I am wanting to do this too, I'll probably fabricate my own.

 

How did you secure that jerry can? I'm looking for options to do the same. I'm hoping to somehow secure it to my bed rails.

 

Just 4 bolts through the bed. (This may void Linex warranty though) Used rubber furniture feet so the can wouldn't rattle when it's empty. And a couple of washers underneath to level it.

That would almost double as a VW repair kit except you'd need to include a rubber band.

Yes, in hindsight I should have used Unistrut vs buying oem rails; the undercover tonneau renders then useless anyway..

Do these come in various sizes? I thought the Unistrut rails were the same size as the factory rails....?

 

I know of 3 sizes of unistrut;
shallow (5/8), standard and deep. It's also available in various grades of st st.
Not the same as factory rails but close.

 

Not sure about the factory but the unistrut is 1 5/8" rail width with different heights. I think there might be some difference because I remember reading about Brian @csuviper having to use a washer to make the factory tie downs work on the unistrut. I used the lower profile rails.
