Question for you fine gents - I'm new to the forum, and I just had Bilstein 5100s installed on my '09 Tundra. It was done by a local Lexus/Toyota mechanic who said he'd done a ton of them. Everything was great for a few days, but then I started noticing tire rub when making sharp turns. I have the same 285/65R18s on that I had before the install, and never had any prior issues with tire rub.

Any thoughts? Did the guy botch the install? I was under the impression that one of the ideas behind leveling was to avoid tire rub, not create it.

Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

Got to the bottom of the issue, and it wasn't steering stops. A couple of bolts on the front skid plate (driver side) were loose. Quick turn of the wrench did the trick! No more noise.
