I noticed the other day when my rear window was all the way down that I can hear it moving around back there in the truck and I thought it was strange. When I parked I rolled it up half way and grabbed it, it seems to have a lot of play. A lot more play then my 21 year old 4runner does. Is this common/normal?

Grab any window that is partially rolled down and yank on it like that.....it'll move.

Mine slightly blows in and out in an auto car wash. Figured it’s normal.

True but why us my 2000 4runner more snug then my 2017 tundra. Even driving on the freeway with it partially down it doesn't even budge. As long as everyone's is the same then I'm OK with it, I just wanted to make sure nothing was broken.

It's to accommodate stuff loaded in the bed and up against it. So it has a bit of give. Actually a nice detail.

It is a rather large piece of glass. It needs to give.

try leaning on or pushing a department store window. You’ll get it to move pretty easily.
