Brake Controller Mounting

    I've seen a few pictures of brake controllers that have been mounted by moving the tow/haul switch to another knockout and modifying the box directly in front of the shifter. I'd like to do something similar and stumbled on this parts diagram:

    It shows an alternate cubby design.:monocle: Does anyone have any experience with this alternate, bigger cubby? What does it really look like? Would it accept a brake controller? The existing cubby is useless anyway. My thought is that a bigger cubby would allow a P2 or P3 to sit almost flush with the dash, but allow me to operate the manual lever underneath. Below are the part numbers.
