Well, I sold the old girl. As some of you are aware the motor blew while towing a trailer at 205k miles.

I was going to try to turn it into a Baja runner but proved to not be cost-effective. I just sold her for a decent price ($4500) considering the motor was blown.

I know many of you will be sad to see it, but I had to go with the best option for what I was looking for, for the money.

I purchased a custom built 2014 Ford Raptor, fitted with 39" tires. Everything was built right on this thing. At full compression and turn, the tires do not rub. I found the truck on the Raptor forum for sale.

It has been interesting gentleman and ladies, I wish you well.

Here are some pics for anyone who cares lol.

that's pretty sweet! I'm sorry to hear you had the troubles with the Tundra, but don't think that changing trucks means you can't be part of the community. We have several members that no longer own Tundras.

You got any more pics of the Raptor? Under the hood?

I'd like to see some pictures of the raptor in the air. There must be something to launch from around there.

Why Ford ever went to the eco booms in the raptors is beyond me. This beast is proper in every way, 6.2 :amen:. Damn sexy truck

Last time you said a concern was ur insurance wouldn’t cover your tundra mods or something like that? Are they going to cover all the parts on this?

Yes, the insurance covers up to 25k additional parts. So it would cover this! The Tundra would have been 15k shy on insurance and still had a higher premium, odd how insurance works

Nice truck, it looks like it's set up for some serious off roading. Hopefully it's a 6.2 and not the 5.4 3V because the 5.4 is another ticking time bomb because of the cam phasers. Fortunately there are some preventative measures you can do to the 5.4.

Don't take this as "poo on your yum", but are you considering extending that front bumper outward? Seems like a lot of unprotected real estate on each side.

Looks pretty clean from these pics.

Good start. Now, cut the back of the frame off and link it.

My daily driver will be this truck or the old Ford Expedition I picked up to drive around while I was looking for a new vehicle.

Well, the guy who bought the Tundra showed up today to show me he got it repaired and back on the road running. I guess the only issue was cylinder 7 valve return spring broke and cause the piston head to hit the valve and bend it. He got it "rebuilt", replaced the bumper, wheels, etc. Then detailed it, looks like a completely different truck.

Here are a few videos of me taking some mild jumps in the Raptor at Little Sahara park in OK.
