    Cold air, leveling kit,
    All,

I am no mechanic by any means. I took my truck in yesterday and was told there is nothing wrong with it. These are the symptoms I have been experiencing.

    - Not wanting to start. 2-3 attempts before it barely turns over and fires up. Completely random when this happens
    - surging while at highway speeds in same gear. Almost like its not getting gas but in a consistent pattern.
    - check engine light started flashing with a random RPM idle about a week ago while the truck was idling in park,
Its almost like the truck has a poltergeist :)

If anyone can give ANY advice I'd greatly appreciate. I trust my mechanic but his computer found NOTHING wrong with the truck so there is NOTHING wrong with it. NOPE!!!

Something is way off and have no idea what the issue(s) could be

    HELP!

Could be a gagillion things. He didn't fine ANY codes?

    Could be bad gas.

    Could be clogging air filter.

    Could be gnawed on wires.

Is this a Flex Fuel Vehicle?

    Any advise?

    Disconnect battery. 15 minutes?
Reconnect, start and put transmission in S4.
Drive to gas station and fill up with super.
    A hwy stretch in S5 at 70mph @2200ish rpm's wouldn't hurt.

    Edit:
Turn off the nannies while your at it.:monocle:

I have 2 guesses. The first is a bad ground somewhere, the other is a coil pack or two that are going bad. The reason I bring Up the coil pack is that the exact same happened on my daughters Camry. The check engine light never came even though it ran like it should have. If you do go the coil pack route, make sure you only get OEM. There are a lot of counterfeit ones out there. I got mine from a Toyota dealership off eBay.

    Lots o’ mods
I agree that the first problem sounds like classic bad ground.
