My first Toyota 2019 SR-5 . I bought this truck because of Last GMC engine failure, Eco I boost Ford timing chain failure all before 100k. I'm a little unsure of my 20k Tundra leaking rear axle . Does anyone of issues with axles , my vent isn't clogged . 1617666314525739653073112406999.jpg

I don’t recall many issues like this, have you called the dealer? I have a 20 with identical miles and no issues like that.

Did you pull the diff breather to check if it was seized or just look at it?

What does the fluid smell like? You cant mistake the smell of gear oil.

Clean it off and inspect. Make sure it is a real leak.

Looks like you blew your axle seal. I've blown that same one but I do alot of towing. Mine went around 165k. From what I remember. I had a fluid burning smell too that's how I noticed it.
Warranty will cover it I'd take it in to the dealership.

Sorry to hear about your issue, but welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! That's what the warranty is for.

    Welcome to the forum.

I may have the same issue OP. Same side too.

I was doing my annual undercarriage maitenance. (wash/spot prime/ paint).

I noticed some oily dirt accumulation on the driver's side rear.

115k miles. No towing/ light hauling.

Going to monitor it for now.

    Best of luck to you.

Going to dealership for warranty but I have heard more complaints about front axle but U-tube seems to have a few more people with axle complaints. I tow a fishing boat 2700 pounds not much for a 1/2 ton . I've been though all makes last 20 years .
