That sounds awesome! And it also sounds like your school is isolated and/or unaffected by the shenanigans of the NEA and the Teachers Union. I love to hear about these things! It means the future of the country is not totally hopeless!

That is really cool - I've got a lot of respect for that level of quality and commitment.

Into Monday like the landing on Normandy...
Good thing is my "second in command" is back in the office full time now (he's been remote in Denver for ~8 months). So hoping that helps with the typical Monday shit-shows.
And my parents are in town this week - so I got to see them for the first time since January '20, and my wife got to see them for the first time since May '19!

That is great that you and the school are so committed to the kids and not letting all the silliness around affect the school!

Who does the Fire Dept call when the roll their UTV down an embankment?

Just spent the past four hours assisting the local FD recover their Gator after an accident during a training session. The rolled it down an embankment and luckily got hung up on a tree before making it to the river. Amazingly no injuries to the occupants.
Two winches, my traction boards and recovery straps and we were able to get it back up on the trail and it drove out of the woods on its own, though it’s roll cage was in rough shape.
didn’t take any pics out of respect for the FD guys. They are going to get enough thrown at them from the rest of the guys at their station.

My daughter decided to add to the fun today, currently at urgent care with her mom with a possible fracture along the growth plate in her foot. Air cast and crutches incoming. Never figured my daughter to be the first of the 3 to break a bone

    Thanks....life of a dancer.
I'd feel bad for her, but she's already plotting the attention she's going to get at school tomorrow

Do they do plaster casts anymore? When I broke my ankle in 8th grade, it was awesome getting it signed.

she's in an aircast for now, since they went to an urgent care, we are still waiting for their specialist to analyze xrays. They pretty much just saw a PA.

We've got two extra dogs for the week. This is the best time of day to have four dogs.
