I'm new here. I'm the not so proud owner of a new 2021 Tundra SR5. I joined to try and see if anyone else has had problems with their new truck. This week will be the third trip to dealership service. I'm not a happy camper. I'll find a place on here to post the issues.

Welcome from Nevada, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will get resolved, whatever the problem is.

Yeah, sorry for the mystery. I was off reading other posts looking for answers. It's the dreaded "shakes". 50-55 mph. The truck is a 2021, is 6 months old & I bought it from the dealer who had installed a 4" (I think) lift and some bigger wheels and tires. (They were Falkens & now are Fuel 305/55/20's). I haven't put 1200 miles on the thing in 6 months , just because I hate driving it. It's my only vehicle, too. I tried having the tires balanced at NTB just to avoid having to desal with the dealership's service department. No luck. Finally relented and took it to the dealer. They kept it one day, said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and they let some air out of the tires to 'soften it up'.

I kept it for a week and it still shook, so I ripped off an e-mail to Toyota USA & CC'ed the dealership. Took it back and this time they kept it for a week. They did road force balancing, they aligned the front end, they had the tires checked for flaws and faults. The service writer called and said it may be a tire or possibly both on the front. He said then tire dealership would replace one of the tires and that would be about a 2-week wait, and they might replace a second tire sometime after that. Incredible. We had a bit of a come-to-jesus over the phone and they ultimately replaced all four tires with Fuel brand tires, as the truck has Fuel brand aftermarket wheels.

This was supposed to be it. all good to go and picked it up Friday evening from the dealership. Still shakes. It doesn't always shake at the same given speed & sometimes, not at all. Sometimes it seems more apparent from a cold start and might lessen a bit after driving for a while (30 mins or so).

So that's where I'm at. It's going back in this week for another attempt at finding a solution to this. It appears to be a popular issue on Tundras, based upon what I am learning here. I've learned it can be lug nuts, lug vs. hub-centric wheels, needing new Upper Control Arms that will allow for more caster, even if alignment shows within range of tolerance. I dunno. Please feel free to offer what you think. I'm at my wits end and about ready to ask for a refund. Thanks.
