It’s pretty uncommon for me to have to lock/unlock the doors with the door switch. Normally I obviously just lock/unlock with the key fob.

Today I made a stop and left the wife and daughter in the truck to grab some stuff in the store. When I came back out with both hands full, my wife hit the unlock switch and nothing happened.

I set stuff down and unlocked it with the key fob. I got in, and closed the door, and locked the truck up with my key fob. Then, I tried to unlock the doors with the switch. Nothing.

Is there a setting I have messed up? Is there a button I am unaware of that I hit?

Or is it possible that I messed something up while removing door panels to work on things?

Pretty sure that when you lock from the outside (with FOB), the unlock side of the switch on the inside is disabled. I think it’s to prevent someone from slipping something past the door seal and hitting the button to unlock the doors.

If you lock the doors with the inside switch(s), it should also unlock via that inside switch though.
