    Hello:
When you turn off the Blind Spot Monitoring using the BSM button in a 2017/2018, does it stay off even when you stop/restart the truck, or do you have to turn it off every time you start the vehicle? Does it also do the same for the rear cross traffic alert feature?
    Thanks in advance!

In a 2017, yes because it is a physical button that gets pushed.

The cross traffic and BSM on my 2016 stay off after you push it, regardless of restart. Have to hit the button again to gain the function.

@frichco228 - Thank you for that info! Do you know if that also applies for parking sensors, or is that a totally separate feature? Hard to tell from what I read.

Same deal, I have them on my truck. One button for the parking sensors, another for BSM. Turn them off and they stay off.

Thank you @frichco228 - so glad to hear that first-hand. I'm actively looking for a '17 SR5, but I need to be able to turn off those features if I don't find a truck without them.

    Tastefully enhanced...
Towing...those functions bother me when left on while screaming their noise...must turn them off if it's an actual truck and used as one...
