I thought SX was available on the CM as of 2020. Or is that a Canada thing only?

Could be a Canada thing. I see vids from a dealer in Edmonton in which the TRD Sport has sensors and leather...different spec from US on that anyway. Option only avaiable on DC on the US toyota site.

Mine turns back on every time I get in the truck after turning it off. I don't like dealing with it, so I turned the sensitivity down.

I saw that video too, a voodoo DC sport with black leather would be the perfect truck IMO.

Mine has been off since I bought my truck. I am scared to mess with it, because I don't want it to stay enabled. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that it reenables on restart.

The pre collision system will turn itself on each time but the lane departure warning should stay off.

I was in this same predicament and here was the deciding factor, you can spend a bit more on the front end and get the color matched goodies, plus the dual zone climate, and smart key, and LED headlights and fogs with the Sport package or you can ultimately pay more in the future for just the color matching and completely miss out on the other features mentioned. If you like to ride with your SO in the truck having dual zone climate is a god send.

Just checked out the Toyota Canada site and your right, they have way more options available, plus their build vehicle tool is better in every way.

Interestingly, I don't think my Pre Collision isn't working. The only time I have had it go off is after a one particular car wash. I have had a few events where that damn thing should have initiated, but it didn't. I will be posting it at my first check up. The lane departure turns on every time I start the vehicle and I turn it off or ignore it. It is annoying!

Strange. As others have said, the convenience (sensors) package has been available on the Tundra Sport, but when I go to the site and try to order it that way, as you're probably doing, Toyota doesn't let me. It's one or the other. Since you're ordering a truck I was just going to say get it the way you want it.

There are Sports around that have the convenience package, but maybe you don't want a used truck.

The SX's look great, but last I checked you can't get them with the big tank.

I hope you can find what you want!

I would target the amenities I wanted and not worry about the things I will change. If you want park assist or blind spot monitoring, Leather, etc, target that trim level. Wheels, suspension parts, all that can be added later, you can't add the aforementioned.

Well, I guess I'll trough my two cents in: If you like the color coded bumpers, those alone offset the upgrade to TRD Sport, all the rest is a bonus.
I have a 2020 w/ TRD Off Road, and the only thing it should have had that it didn't was the rear say bar... I just had one installed; big improvement.
So, now with color coding, and the sway bar, you're ahead of the game.
For Audio system performance, I will make a post soon.
I am in the High-End Home Audio industry, have been for over forty years.
I also worked in a couple of very advanced car audio dealers in years gone by... My two cents coming there soon!

After nearly two months of waiting for to new 2021 TRD Sport, with no arrival in sight, we broke down and found picked up a used Tundra!

    2015 SR5 DC 2wd TSS
    111k miles
    Roll style tonneau cover

A few little cosmetic things inside and out, but overall pretty clean with good carfax record. Got what I thought was a good deal at about $2k under KBB trade-in value.

I kinda wanted fabric seats, but not this ugly brown! May live with it, or possible upgrade to black Katskins. Looking at in/out chrome delete as well.

This is more in line with our original plan, to have something we can use now and pass it on to my son on about a year and a half.

If the other one comes in, or we find something we like better (CM 4x4), we can always sell or trade.

But for now, nice to have a Tundra!

Congrats on the truck! You're son would be lucky to have it in a year or two!

Looks good! They hold value so well you can always move on with a sale and not lose much, or give it to your son as mentioned. Congrats

    Pretty Sharp!
This will give you the chance to get familiar with the rig, and know what you want on your new one.
