Just ordered the Westcott front only kit for my 2020 that I'm ordering this week. Unsure of what to do for the rear. I was told by Jeff Westcott that the Icon AAL expansion kit would work well, but then read bad reviews. What about the Toytec AAl or a CB shackle? Keeping stock bumper but I have a Rigd Supply mega fit waiting in the garage and going with 285/75/18 Toyo MTs with some recovery gear in the bed under a lo pro tonneau. Any suggestions? I have about 40 days before the truck arrives and I'd like to have everything ready when it gets here.

I’m debating this lift kit in the future. Any pictures of the front bracket/coil overs for reference? And the rear with the shock extensions? I’m with you on the “no block”. New pack and shackles is the way to go.

 

@BurgEER I installed mine last week. Very happy with it. Install wasn't too bad. The video online isn't 100% accurate for a Tundra. Called Jeff Westcott at least 5 times during the install with questions. He always answered and always had the info I needed.

Looking forward to wearing out my tires so I can go to 35/12.50's.

Makes the truck sit perfect and exactly level +/- 1/8".

Truck drives the same. Had to do an alignment after of course. Camber and caster were still in the green range, toe was the only thing affected.

Have not gotten any good pics yet.

 

Yeah man. I have 0.75" between my UCA and the tire. With a 35/12.50 I will have 0.10" - a little close for my comfort. I may end up with 305/70 as well to get the height but only 12" wife versus 12.5". Too bad I only have 9800 miles on my 285's - I'm ready now!!

Yes sir it does. Feels just like it did before I installed it. I have about 1300 miles on it now

 

This is normal tundra poor ride. Blocks can make it worse. Consider shackle upgrade, it REALLY helps on expansion joints

 

I have a brand new readylift +2 not installed, going to sell it cheap to offload it. I want to lift but realized my big dog (mastiff mix) won't be able to jump in the back as he's getting older.

If a time comes when I can lift, I'd go the Westscott route for the front. I did a similar lift on my 2015 Pro 4Runner and much prefer the raised perch collar over a top spacer. It overcomes the fact that Toyota makes these normally adjustable shocks unadjustable.

I can't post for sale here due to my post count, so I'll guess I'll do local CL.

 

Can you expand on that? Why do you prefer a preload spacer over a top spacer?

 

Since the Pros come with awesome shocks, the collar lift seems like the more natural way to adjust right height. Toyota neuters adjustability on the Fox and Bilsteins. If they were like their aftermarket counterparts ride height would be adjusted by raising the collar. Westcott's solution overcomes this.

I recently put 285/75/R18 on and the fit is perfect without any lift, so I'm probably not going to lift at all. 2 additional inches is going to be too much for one of my dogs. That was something I should have thought about before I pulled the trigger.

Anyone wants a readylift +2 brand new in box at a steal let me know.

Love my Westcott system. Easy, and didn't change any geometry so no changes to vehicle registration here in BC

We had to get a ramp for our Katie...
It telescopes 3 sections on tracks. She has since, died. Still have the ramp

 

No complaints here on the Readylift. No big off-roading here so it works for me. Aesthetically, I think I would have gone with the +4 if I did it again. I just like the stance of a bit more lift. Beyond that, it’s all good.

I just ordered my Westcott Designs preload collar kit for my 2019 Pro. I want to run Method MR312 18x9 w/+18 OS with Toyo RT’s 35x12.5x18 tires. Do you think I will end up rubbing or need a BMC?

 

Does it effect towing or off roading

 

Just got everything delivered. In the next week or 2 I will get it installed! The tires are so hard to find.

 

With the Westcott lift, I have 35x12.5x18 Grabbers and there is just a little rubbing at lock on the front mud flaps. I have the Coachbuilder front bumper shims so the air deflectors are not a problem but I will do a little heat gun action on the flaps or maybe a little trim to stop the rubbing at some point. Jeff Westcott advises to remove the air deflector and the front mud flaps and there will be no rubbing but I wanted to keep them as much as I could.

 

Got the Westcott Design lift installed today. It gave me 1” in back and 2” up front from center of wheel to fender. Eliminated the 1” rake from factory and cleared 35” tires on Method MR312’s with +18 OS no problem without a BMC. It eliminated body roll and the dip in the front end when you brake. Overall, very satisfied! Overall ride hight is 3 1/2” higher in front and 2 1/2” higher in rear with new tires and lift. I adjusted air pressure to 37psi in front and 40psi in back and rides like a dream.

 

Hey guys just wanted to ask on the forum first if the westcott Design is compatible with any Bilsteins. Ive seen mainly on Pros but ive also seen a video on their ig and some pictures that the WC collar kit is mounted on Bilsteins 4600 to 5100 and maybe Toyota oem black shocks? Can anyone confirm this.
