Hi Everyone, just joined the site and hail from the DMV area, specifically Moco MD. I am a first time Tundra Owner of a 2017 Crewmax TRD off road. No mods yet but debating on adding the TRD dual exhaust any recommendations? I am a little OCD about my truck mechanically and listen or look for anything out of place as I used to own a Ford F-150 and was in the shop quite often which leads me here. Has anyone else heard a slight intermittent “chirp” from the engine bay ( passenger side) at cold start up? It only seems to occur in the winter or after a heavy rain, but even then not all the time. I assume belt but wanted to know if anyone else had or currently has a similar experience. Look forward to chatting with all of you. Thanks!

Mine makes noise after rain when cold that sounds like what your describing. Only lasts a few seconds. And in Phoenix, rain and cold don't happen often. By the way, welcome from Phoenix

Thanks I appreciate it. Yeah so weird just does it once in a while. Either when very cold out here in MD or after heavy rains and only after sitting overnight. Did you ever get it looked at? I am assuming it may be the drive belt or tensioner but pretty sure it would do it all the time if so.

It happens so seldom that it is impossible to tell what it is, or, when it is going to do it. It doesn't last long enough to get out of the truck, pop the hood and take a look. So I'm going to except it as one of life's little mysteries.
