Yes. It's something a teenager with reasonably strong hands and work ethic can handle after watching the video.

Wiring the seat heaters is maybe the only part where some thinking is appropriate. I'm still going on mine.

And, FTR, I'm speaking of my tacoma but I don't expect the install is any different on a Tundy? I will definitely go clazzio again (I'm on here as I prepare to trick my buddy into selling me my 2002 Tundra back once he's tired of it and wants something a bit more luxurious.)

Cool, good to know. I figured they should, and would have been surprised if they didn’t, but you never know :)

With the GM ones I'd say if you do a bunch of city driving stay with the regular OEM mirrors. The GM ones are huge so you see everything behind you but have a blind spot coming up to intersections for pedestrians and cross traffic. I love my GM ones when I'm out on the highway, especially the freeways, but in town I'm always moving my head around to double check I didn't miss something.

I just put these on my 2020 TRD Sport MGM. They are Awesome mirrors, no shaking at all, very stable mirrors. I did not hook up the flood/spot light to the reverse lights. I hooked up the flood/spot light to the cargo light. This way when I unlock the truck the flood/spot light turns on so I can see the door area. Very easy to install, worth every penny.

Good to hear!...yea I’m on the fence about where I’m gonna hook my spot lights into, I already have puddle lights and I also installed custom LED’s under truck that come on when I unlock truck or open a door so I may stick to the reverse setup, but we’ll see!

I love mine - great mirrors. Running BSM is my next project.

I haven’t had that experience with mine. Might be because I had the OEM ones from day one on my prior truck and just got used to it, but I don’t notice any more/bigger blind spots than before.

Did you get puddle lights in the new mirrors? I didn’t see that as an option. I ran my “reverse” lights to a dedicated switch. I don’t see a huge amount of usefulness in them TBH, except maybe for some specific use cases. So I’m glad they don’t come on EVERY time I go into reverse.

I jump back and forth between my Tundra with the GM mirrors and the wife's Ram with the small regular type mirrors, and it's night and day. I'm used to towing mirrors as I drive HD trucks more than my Tundra so it's normal for me but there is quite a blind spot compared to the standard mirrors. The Toyota towing mirrors are right in the middle - which is why I didn't like them - and they certainly created a blind spot too. It's not too much of a blind spot that it's unsafe, but it's certainly something to think about for those who drive in the city a bunch.

Started my drawer system build today by going to Lowes and getting some 1/2" maple plywood. Got pretty far before darkness and some rain started setting in but pretty good for a few hours of work and no real plan on what to build. (ignore the overloaded cargo net ... put a bunch of crap up there that was in the bed while I was working).

Plan is to have a hinged flap on the cab end to get underneath for storage and the rest will be a drawer once my slides get here from China sometime in early May. The passenger side will have a full length piano hinge that opens so I can access the areas next to the wheel well for more storage. Currently everything is screwed together with pocket screws and is really stable but I'm going to add some L brackets as well just in case. Outside of the box will also get some marine carpeting. Bottom panel will be mounted into the bed with a bunch of rivnuts and bolts so it can be removed relatively easy.

What's the idea with the cover on the fridge? I got one from a TW'er (but haven't been able to use it yet b/c I'm waiting on my Leer shell and it's too big to fit with my tonneau and I don't want to just leave it in the open bed.

Is it for insulation or to stop other stuff from scratching it or something else entirely?

I just installed my Rigid 360 ditch lights. The beam is incredibly bright, and I’m really liking the orange back light. My only trouble is that I decided to use a fuse tap for the backlight. I can’t seem to find a fuse that only runs when the truck is on. Any one have suggestions?

Insulation primarily, also protection and storage in the case of ARB, which has a pocket on the side.

I was hoping to somehow modify the new ones to put the puddles in em, they don’t have that as an option...I can never leave well enough alone so I’m going to see if I can somehow pull it off...hahaha...and that’s actually not a bad idea, I may do the same...that might be the way to go with having em on a dedicated switch, there’s obviously no need for em during day...thanks for the tip!

I thought about adding puddle lights... but didn’t want to tear them open. They already look like they’ve got a lot of stuff packed in there!
