    Is there a point to running a DSP amp if you already have to run a DSR on the JBL system? The only benefit that I can see is being able to control a downstream amp that is hooked into the outputs.

    It depends on the units used, whether the software for the amp is better than the DSR1, lots of variables.

    However, each additional unit added to the system increases the probability of increased noise floor, aka the static hiss.
