I got a 2020 Limited back in July. It has the OE heated seats. Is it me or do they not get overly hot. My Wife's 2009 ML350 will fry an egg! I do have a very thin cover on them. They get warm but not very hot?

Mine can get way too hot. Was pretty cold here a few weeks ago for several days. I never had them set past the first level. Good enough.

I don’t have a big problem with the heat per say, my prob.is driver seat works maybe 30% of the time. I did find a way to get it to work every time , I turn the key on (2018) then off then back on and start.works every time ..Go figure that one?

Setting 2 out of 3 seems pretty good to me when it's below freezing here. I'm not even sure I've tried putting it on 3.

Put mine on high for less than 5 mins, then either low or off and they are comfy.

Mine only have one setting and I find them plenty hot.

Don't think you would want them "overly hot" but mine are pretty warm. Cannot leave them on high setting.
My wife's new Camry on the other hand are pretty weak compared to my 2020 Tundra

I'm going to have my dealer check them next oil change.

Mine are really slow to warm up, I figured it was probably due to the thickness of the leather. I have had in other Toyota vehicles and they were much better. Ultimately they work so I am OK but with they were faster.

For me, 1 is unnoticeable, 2 is ok, but a little slow to warm, and 3 is like sitting on the sun.

a fresh pan of cookies out of the oven is unbearable on the hand if you were to just grab it out. if you insulate it with an oven mitt you only feel a fraction of the heat. i see the same issue with your seat covers.... great now i want fresh cookies lol

I think it's the thick leather? Took the seat covers off. not much of a difference?
