My sons 2009 Tacoma makes an odd humming/hissing noise which I'm told is that the diaphragm in hydraulic brake booster has gone bad. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how easy/difficult of a fix this is? I realize this is a Tacoma but there are a lot of knowledgable gear heads in here and thought I'd ask. I will also be asking this on the Tacoma page. Any assistance is appreciated. I'm by no means a mechanic so please be as descriptive as possible in your response!
