TRD Brand Might Get Discontinued?

    I don't see any rants. You asked the question, and then cited a YT video of some guy talking about the history of TRD and the intro of GR. He never connected the dots to make anyone think the TRD brand was going away, but labeled the video with "RIP TRD" as click bait so he could get more views of his video.
    Toyota has not been in the sports car/hot hatch market for a long time, so bringing a new line to market under the GR banner makes sense, but the TRD brand is a huge seller for Toyota and they won't just drop it. I could see TRD staying strictly with the truck side, and GR for their new cars. That would make sense from a marketing standpoint.
