I haven't driven my truck for exactly a week - I went out of town last Saturday and left it parked in the driveway. This morning when attempting to leave to make an appointment to get new wheels, the truck wouldn't even attempt to crank over when I turned the key. All of the internal electronics appeared to be fully powered so I broke out my meter to get a battery read. Before even trying to test the battery I noticed that my positive battery terminal was a little loose, after tightening it the truck started fine.

Now It has a CEL and traction control is turned off. I figured I would keep my appointment for the wheels and go have the codes read afterwards. I am over 90 minutes from the dealership, does anyone have any ideas what might be going on or things I should check?

Without the saved codes from the CEL, you're grasping at straws.

Yeah, understood. That is my next stop this morning but thought the chain of events might be meaningful to someone here. Figured I'd reach out to the pros while waiting in the tire shop lobby.

By the time I got the truck back at the tire shop the CEL was no longer on and traction control was active. Had codes read anyway and no codes...

Probably just a result of the loose battery cable.

This is what I thought this morning, particularly after reading other posts on various forums about the same thing, but wanted to be sure.

I'm not sure how/why the battery cable was loose, probably just vibrated loose over time. Oh well, I'll call it good unless it happens again.
