Can anyone from NOVA recommend a shop that they trust to mod their trucks? I'm looking for suspension, wheels, tires, etc and eventually things like headers and exhaust. I asked my uncle Google for some suggestions, and he just babbled on with a bunch of ads. Hoping to get recommendations (positive or negative) from members who have a shop they've worked with.

    Thanks!

Whitey's Automotive in Chantilly is impeccable with their honesty. I used to have a Camry that I brought in there several times for different things, and more than once I was told by Quentin "you don't need that done (something expensive that I told him I needed done), you need this done (something much cheaper)" - and saved me a bunch of cash. Anything exhaust related, I wouldn't hesitate to take there. They do just about anything else I believe, but they don't specialize in lifted/tricked out trucks.

I've gone to Trick Trucks in Chantilly several times and have pretty good experience there. They specialize in lifted/"tricked" trucks & know their stuff. I always get my 37s rotated there. Last time I was there, I actually overheard one of the guys at the counter suggest the customer go to Whitey's for exhaust work because they're "very honest, won't rip you off, and aren't only interested in making money." I chimed in agreeing. It solidified my view of Whitey's, and really raised my view of Trick Trucks a lot, too. I didn't get anything extensive done there, just tire balancing and CMC. Always good work, never suggested unnecessary work should be done, and prices always fair. I bought several things through them, and they were very honest with that stuff...actually recommending for one item in particular I purchase it elsewhere cause it'd be cheaper.

After my experience getting an alignment by Steve at Advanced Automotive in Chantilly (https://advancedautomotiveva.com/), I will go nowhere else for alignments. (Trick Trucks actually sends all alignments to Advanced Automotive.) Dude knows his stuff inside & out, took the time to splain stuff to me, took me for a ride in my truck explaining road crown & how it affects big 37s differently, etc, etc, and got my alignment straight as an arrow afterwards. Again, nowhere else. Steve. Alignment maestro.

After living in NOVA for ~20 years, those are my three suggestions.

Awesome, thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping for, and Chantilly isn't that far away. Trick Trucks came up on one of my searches; happy to have a real user endorsement.

I've been in NOVA for about 15 years myself, but this is my first truck ever...learning a whole lot; especially by reading what people write on this forum.
