    What is the best hood bulge LED bar that doesn't break the bank? I won't use it that much but it will be nice to have some extra light when needed. I just can't pull the trigger on a $900 bar.

    The NSV is a complete kit with switch plate and everything, it does not requiring cutting the hood braces. Normally $1k, sometime on sale from some vendors for less

    Baja Design S8 40" with SDHQ mounting plates. Requires cutting the hood braces and installing switches. Around $1000-1100

    Amazon generic 38-40" light bar. Requires making a mount and fitting the light, requires cutting the hood bracing and installing switches. $50-300 depending on light bar.

    Rough country led strip light - not a light bar, will not provide light beyond 20 feet. $300. No cutting of hood bulge.

    The NSV panel for the 2020/21 has not been updated and released yet. It is a different panel than the 14-19.
