I just got off the phone with Shock surplus and they are getting 51 sets of bilstein 6112s tomorrow and are taking pre orders. They said they have 26 left. The man I spoke to was Jeff and his number is 12138055218.

I don’t work for this company just find their customer service to be awesome and they have stock when most places don’t seem to have anything.

Heard so many people dog them in the Falcon thread and Fox threads, I'm actually hesitant to buy them now.

Just how much of a better ride Fox and Falcon offer.

While I cannot comment on anything but stock and 6112’s, I can say that my 6112/5160 combo at max height ride great. Far better than I had hoped for. Would easily do it all over again. I even take it on the dirt and through mud on the weekends. The truck is much flatter in the corners as well.

Well on this truck I have fox 2.5 with dsc clickers. Yes they ride better than the 6112/5160 combo but they dang well better for the $$$$ difference. You will love 6112s

6112's are a great ride for the money and all you need, especially if your mostly on the pavement.

Missed this by 20 minutes and I’m so bummed. Hoping they get some more kits in soon!

I hope you get all of your hardware with the shocks. I had my mechanic friend install my 4600s I ordered from Shock Surplus and he told me it was very apparent that the boxes for the shocks had been opened and re-sealed prior and that the bushings and nuts were missing from the boxes. Fortunately he had some spares he was able to use but it still annoys me that what I thought was a complete shock setup was incomplete but at full price.

Were they purchased assembled or unassembled?

Nevermind, didn't see the 4600. Assumed you purchased 6112s

You’re supposed to reuse your stock hardware. Obviously your mechanic friend is not very knowledgeable about oem replacement shocks. No such thing as preassembled 4600s.

So the 2.5" IFP Fox is double the cost of the 6112s, the Falcons are essentially 3-400 more (compared against the 6112/5160 combo) and if they did come with their own coils, would be another 180-300 more than that. I would hope those options would be better considering the investment. Falcons look nice but are only competitive because they are priced without coils. Falcon would have a harder time selling at $1800.

Had 6112s on my Tacoma and yeah they were nothing like the OEM Fox Pros on my Tundra, but I just bought Eibachs at $1000, so for me ride to money ROI isnt worth the extra 1-2K.

FWIW the 6112s were still great, which is why I only spent $1000 this time around.
