I currently have a Daimondback HD on my '21 Crew Cab. I want to install my RTT this summer and am looking at the Frontrunner add-on kit or the KB Voodoo Max Modular rack. Can anyone provide some pros / cons of either? Is anyone running something different on their Diamondback?

    Thanks!

Uptop has new brackets that fit under the cleats and allow their rack to work on top of a diamondback. You can still open the panels with nothing on the rack, too.

This link is for the Tacoma but they have said they just need dimensions and can put together a Tundra setup if you call them.

I’m planning to get one for my hd closer to summer.

I have the KB Voodoo 18" rack on my diamondback. I got it mainly so I can haul a canoe and have a RTT. If you don't need anything to go over the cab I would for sure go with the frontrunner setup.

Thanks Willard. I really like that uptop overland because you can still open the lid to the Diamondback.

One of the drawbacks to the Frontrunner is definitely the height. I won't be hauling a kayak, but I'd like to install a 270degree awning, which I think the Frontrunner is too short for. Perhaps the Frontrunner with a custom welded bracket for an awning?
