Anyone have these? It looks like you don’t have to take the hood bolts out all the way to install.

On the standard configuration, you just take one bolt out, then bolt the bracket on and tighten that bolt down most of the way, then remove the second bolt and rotate the bracket to line it up. Both bolts are never removed and the hood stays still the whole time.

I get it. And maybe I’m just over thinking it. Just don’t want the hood slipping. Ha. It’s between these and the rago’s

I’d go Rago simply because it’s a one piece design. I can see these rattling loose over time

They look alright but havent seen any reviews.id be curious as well to see how these have fared for others. Id definitely recommend the ragos or sdhq though for sure. I ended up getting the sdhq brackets for peace of mind.

When I put mine on(victory 4x4), I intended to keep the hood still, and it ended up moving. It's really no big deal as there are very obvious marks where the hood was. Super easy to get back In the same spot. I honestly wouldn't worry in the slightest about getting one that you can do one bolt at a time.

Ps, don't get victory 4x4 brackets. They say the fit 07 up but are very obviously made for the 3rd gen. Idk why they refuse to update their website. I got refunded but it was quite annoying as they clearly know its an issue based on the reviews I wished I read before the purchase.
