My buddy has a 2000 Tundra TRD with a V8 235k, no rust, 4x4 works, leather is good. He has service records for past 10 years. My question is...Would this be a good buy? Was 2000 a good year? How long do they last with regular maintenance? How do I work the 4 wheel drive? How do I get it in to 4 lo? So for the dumb newbie questions!!! Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated!

10 years of records is good, but you'd just have to hope that the most important years (the 10-11 before) it was well taken care of. Go to KBB. com and book it out, then decide if condition and $ meet your needs. 235K miles is a lot, but there are plenty of 2000 Tundras that have more if cared for properly. Keep searching on here. You'll find the answers you need. Hopefully someone else will chime in here.
