    Hey there,
I'm looking to put some new tires on my 2015 1794. considering the BFG T/A K02's but someone told me that they are noisy. Any input on that or a recommended similar tire??
    Thanks
    Tony

Depends, there are MANY great options. What size are you considering? That is important as it will dictate what load range and tire options are available in the size you want to install.

Hopefully someone with them will reply. I have run BFG on many trucks, but not my Tundra. I have run a ton of C load BFGs, didnt think they were loud and they did well on road or off. They could do better with wet traction but overall I had no complaints. But, in the sizes the Tundra will use, they would likely be E load.....E load vs C load BFGs are different animals, so the load rating does greatly impact the tires performance and driving feel.

There are 30+ ATs, just did a quick search- https://www.discounttire.com/fitmen...ategory:allTerrainTires&sort=price-asc&page=0

Toyo, Nitto, Cooper, BFG, Falken, Ultraterrains, General, duratrac are probably the most popular.

The Toyota TSS wheels. Had them sent up from Texas and had them powder coated MGM. They are made by Ultra

I just went through this in the same size. I initially went with the KO2 for the look and wanted to make it work. Unfortunately for me, They didn't balance well, they were louder than expected. Louder than the Toyo Open Country ATII I took off. They were also very stiff. I don't need a higher load tire for what I use the truck for.

Ultimately, I went back to the trusty Michelin Defenders LTX. I end up putting them on almost every truck. They last forever, ride great and offer good traction for what I need in Indiana and most importantly snow.

    My .02.

I second the Coopers. Love 'em. And the closest I get to off road is dirt campground roads as well. I also tow a 29' Travel Trailer.

I have 10 ply KO2’s on a Sequoia. They are the newer design, I do not find them loud, but they are louder than the older less aggressive design. I used to run older Toyo’s, similar in design the above mentioned cooper at3’s. They were a good tire and a bit quieter than then KO’2’s.

Just put KO2s load range E on 2017 crewmax. They are louder than the street tires I had, but certainly not as loud as 33" swampers you hear running now the highway often. Hard to describe the "loudness scale", but I will say they aren't loud enough for me to consider them annoying or regret the purchase. Toyo ATIIIs are great as well though. Only reason I went with the BFGs was finding a deal locally too good to pass up.
