I have the 26 gallon when I fill up it says 310 some odd miles so I would be interested if it said 600 miles. Awesome mod.

Mine stayed at ~350mi to empty for the first 200+ miles of driving... Definitely an odd feeling

Yeah I use a microfiber mitt but I’m looking for something like a brush but I’m worried about scratching up my paint.

Did you have to melt or trim the plastic cowling underneath? I definitely had to with the CBI brackets.

    Not sure at this point.
Hah, don’t sweat it. But you definitely do need to make sure you use a 2 bucket wash method. Otherwise you’re for sure going to scratch your paint.

Nope, the passenger side does press down on a rubber piece but did not need to trim. I'll get a picture tomorrow and post. Driverside had no problems.

I've used these for years and haven't noticed scratches although I carry mine through the woods frequently so it has some already. I use a pressure washer first to pre rinse as much dirt off as possible before I use the brush too.

I filled up after getting 506 miles on a tank. Took about 33 gallons to fill up.

I installed the Bumpershellz white end caps over the chrome and then took back off. Nothing against the quality of the part or how it's designed, I just like the original cap style better and being able to see the complete fog light bezel, so I'll be installing those later. Also, I'm still a little on the fence and not convinced the white looks much better than chrome. This is partially because the new white is too bright compared to 2016 paint that has lost a bit:

I think it looks good with the chrome caps and color matched grill surround. I'd leave it like it is. Just my .02 cents worth.

If your a fan of no chrome you could go method racing or black rhino I have the black rhino Arsenal 20x9.5. It gives a little bit of poke and also I was going for a military wheel look. And i can say the ko2 is a fantastic tire my wife’s 4Runner is about to get some.

I just installed a set of TRD Pro BBS wheels and Cooper 295/70 R18s so my big spending is done for a long time! Would like to see your set-up though.

The second pic is after I installed the eibach lift. My tires are also 295 but I’m running 295/55/r20 on black rhino arsenals 20x9.5 so I have a little poke I was hoping that the 2.5 inch lift would stop the rubbing but for some reason it still rubs in reverse.

You have a very nice truck. I used a heat gun and small dead blow hammer on the front splash well and mud flap to shape/mold the plastic and eliminate rubbing. I had to remove small front mud flap too and trim the ears on the skid plate where the tires rubbed - all easy work.

Hey Mike! Your rig is looking kick ass as usual

However, you forgot another often requested “Hey what kind of...” about your rig... So I will add it now.

It’s a Southern Style Off-Road slimline hybrid bumper with a Warnplatinum Xeon 10s winch and Baja Designss8 30" lightbar in driving combo.

 How did I do, did I get it!

    Cheers Brother!

Looks good white. Check out revemoto. They have actual painted end caps like sparks toyota not shells. Which I believe wont have that flaw design on the fog bezels.
