What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Got my icon 2.0 rears on today the driver side went perfect. The passenger side was not so easy.

 

At least you didn’t do this

 

Installed a new i-Buddy dog hammock. The customer seems happy.

 

Nice trailer. Like the room, how a double axle handles, etc. Just don't like how much it sucks the mileage down. Looking at having one build, but with a low profile (lowered roof) so it is inline with the my Leer topper.

 

Yup, and when I turned the heat on the entire dash voilently shook from something being in the blower motor and off-balancing it. I just envision a mouse in there spinning around like a tiny, shitty tilt-o-whirl
Luckily only 4 clips to remove the cover and three bolts to drop the blower so i’ll find out shortly whats waiting for me in there..

 

Appreciate that! My commute is about to lengthen significantly so safety is a priority

What's the big deal?

 

Maybe I’m getting old but it bugs me probably more than it should. It’s usually some kid with colorful LEDs behind his wheels lighting up their big chrome rims and skinny tires.

Maybe OBD Fusion for some reason can read transmission codes natively on the Tundra; I just know Torque Pro can not, so you have to use custom PID’s.

 

ODB Fusion cannot either unless you guy the $9.99 Toyota option pack.

 

Yea I know what it is. Still have my opinion that it looks dumb.

I kinda followed along but used a different cutoff wheel and basically hugged the tail light backing while I cut, avoiding the lens. I masked off all the reflector bowls instead of painting the reverse black like he did, but you can use your imagination there.

 

Looks great. I just had one of these delivered from Amazon. We’ll be taking it for a test ride with my two legged friends this weekend.

 

Threw on my black Toyota exhaust tip and swapped out the black/red TRD vinyl’s for black/gray ones.

 

Looks nice. Where did you source the black and grey version?

Ebay. Another member here has the same ones. Quality isn’t as good as OEM but we’ll see how long they last.

Nope, it’s just the trim chrome that’s painted. I didn’t touch the lens or reflectors.

My latest 'mod'. should've aligned them for the picture I guess.

 

Man now I really need to get myself 2 pairs. One for driver and passenger.

 

Installed the C4 bumper and color matched hood bulge. Still need to paint the surround and grille. Also need to pick out some lights.
