    Mirror caps and door handles done! Decided not to color match the pro grill, I reeeeeally like how the black pro grill ties in with the lower black accent mirror.

    She's coming along nicely ... for me a set of wheels and tires and your set! How hard was swapping out the mirror caps? I've got a set on the way.

    Oh, and yeah ... glad you didn't color match the grill. Might be too much of a good thing.

    Thanks! Agreed a color matched grill is just not what I am after and was a passing thought. No wheels and tires for me. I love the smooth super quiet ride of the TT boss 3/1 and Michelin Defender 10 ply tires in 285/60/20's and just prefer a more stock look for now.

    So my caps came in today and I followed the link you provided ... Wasn't as easy as it looked, but got them in :thumbsup:.


    Then had enough time to mount my Rigid Industries light bar.



    Now need to get my fenders flares back on ...

    Caps look great Dave, I like the light bar location. Who did you order it from? My Platinum does not have any blank switches, so I would have to come up with a switch location.
    Still thinking over a light bar install or may roll with a SouthernStyle front bumper with lightbar. I have yet to see an install reviews on the Southern Style front bumper, so waiting for now.

    I would dechrome and wrap those front and rear bumper corners in Silver Sky! :thumbsup:

    Thanks Dave, I purchased the bar through Amazon and saved over $150 compared to retail pricing. Switch location will be easy for me as I have a empty spot on my panel. I like that Southernstyle bumper with the leds and bull bar and I completely agree with the bumper statement. I have been trying to find the perfect vinyl to match, but no luck as of yet.

    Looking good :thumbsup: and love seeing Old Glory flying high :bowdown:.

    Sweet! Great looking Gen2. I like the bug deflector on yours ... not as much of a fan of them on the Gen3's.

    Lol ... didn't take long for you to change your mind. Looks great as I predicted :thumbsup:. Just be sure to recheck the torque after 100 miles and after every time you remove or rotate your wheels and tires.

    In case anyone was wondering what a pretty much stock SR5-TRD Off road looked like with just the front emblem blacked out. Extremely easy to do. You do not even have to remove the grill.

    Really like the lines of this. Black base (bumpers, flares, etc). But also like the little bit of machines face on the wheels. Excellent contrast.
