Beer B.S. and Review Thread

Weird, I had it last year and the pecan flavor was pretty present

 

How is it?

 

Heavy nougat, lacking caramel and peanut

 

I had it straight out of the refrigerator. Next one I think I'll pour and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Maybe that will help.

 

Just had this tonight, not sure if we are drinking beers from the same batch. I was extremely unimpressed by this. No real flavor to it... I never would have guessed it was cake flavored let alone black forest.

 

Yeah, I know you really enjoyed it and I was so excited for it. Oh well

 

Taiwan beer mango, not too sweet very light ripe mango taste.

 

Just picked up the last 4-pack at the store...hope it’s good. I’ll update this post tonight.



POST DRANK:
Tastes just like it sounds. A big molasses flavor and the beer just got better and better as it went along which makes me think it’s probably a 60-65 temp stout.

 

Dailys are
Organic Peaks IPA 7.1 local
Liquid Rapture DIPA 8.2 pounders. Local
Hoppy, easy IPAs

 

Chilling these. Will be my first time trying em

 

Those should be like 50-55 degrees when drinking so I wouldn’t chill them too much. You lose a lot of flavor getting something that rich fridge cold.

also Oskar Blues makes some of the best brew

As I look at your delicious pic of a fine bier from Bamburg.... I was 50-60 km stationed in Erlangen, which is between Bamburg and Nuremberg....Many hosted local beers as one you depicted, Tucher, and Patrizier to name a few... Oh

Mmmm Dragons Milk. No pics, but that’s some yummy brew.

 

They definitely make some good beers. I think I drove by the brewery over in canton Ohio one time but it was like 10 am on a Sunday so I didn’t stop in lol.

 

They do make some good beer. I went to the original in Glasgow a few times.

 

I have been forgetting to post here lately, idk why but here’s the
Dr. Juice IPA | 6% | Broussard, LA | Smells pretty hoppy but isn’t too hoppy, it’s slightly citrus but can’t tell what fruit

 

Worth a stop next time. They bought their own commercial jetliner and do round trip flights from Columbus to their Scotland HQ!
